Stella Gore

Meet Stella Gore, a public health expert with over seven years of experience. She began her journey working alongside the Gila County immunization team on vaccine-preventable diseases before becoming an opioid overdose community health specialist in 2019. In 2020, she was called to assist with the COVID response in Gila County, where she was promoted to PHEP (Public Health Emergency Preparedness) Manager and built partnerships with local stakeholders. Stella managed a team of disease investigators epidemiologists, community outreach specialists and played multiple roles during the COVID activation of the HEOC (Health Emergency Operation Center). Her remarkable contributions earned her various awards, including the 2020 Employee of the year and 2021 Leader of the Year for Gila County Health and Emergency Management.
